Why Pest Control is Essential

As we are sure you are aware, pests can cause a wide variety of problems. You might be surprised at the level and types of damage they can cause, though. Depending on the types of pests you are faced with, you could be dealing with structural damage, risk of disease spread, and economic factors in commercial settings. No matter what kinds of pest problems you need to solve, calling in professional pest control specialists is the best way to eradicate existing infestations and safeguard your property from future pest problems.

Signs That You Need A Pest Control Service

If you are not sure whether you need a pest control service, the best way to know is to follow the signs. Each type of pest creates its own types of problems, and knowing what to look out for is very helpful.

If you have an ant problem, chances are good that you can see them. But knowing how extensive the infestation is can be more difficult to discern. No matter how large a colony is, though, it’s always best to solve the problem quickly.  Signs of an ant infestation:
  • Lines of ants, especially moving to and from areas with food sources
  • Small piles of sawdust near the edges of walls and possible nesting sites
  • Mounds on the grounds of your property

Bedbugs can be a huge problem as they are blood-sucking parasites that can easily infest beds, sofas, luggage, and more areas. Bedbugs are small, and they are very good at hiding, so identifying an infestation is not always easy until it’s too late.

Here’s what to look out for:

  • Small, red bite marks on your skin. The bites can appear in strange patterns, like rows and clusters
  • Dark spots and stains on bedding and mattresses
  • Exoskeletons and tiny white eggs or egg casings found on your bed sheets

Bees and wasps certainly have important roles in nature, but they can turn your home or business into a danger zone pretty quickly. Whether it’s the painful stings or allergic reactions, there are plenty of reasons to get rid of an infestation.

Signs you have a bee or wasp infestation:

  • Visible nests in trees, or on walls or eaves
  • An increase in bee and wasp activity in and around your home or business
  • Swarming behavior and and stings

Fleas and ticks can be quite difficult to deal with. Not only because they are so small, but also because fleas multiply so quickly and ticks can be very difficult to kill. Whether you’re facing a flea or tick infestation, it’s crucial to deal with the problem quickly to prevent the parasites from spreading diseases to both pets and humans.

Look out for:

  • Pets that frequently scratch, bite at their skin, or groom their fur excessively
  • Small, dark bugs crawling on the skin and fur of your pets
  • Ticks found on the skin with heads embedded in the skin
  • Red, itchy bites on your ankles and lower legs

Our Pest Control Services

Our Ant Control Service

Ant infestations can quickly go from a minor inconvenience to a full-blown takeover. The types of challenges these infestations bring include their invasive behavior, bites, stings, and property damage.

Our ant control service involves:

  • Baiting systems can be used to effectively eliminate nests and solve the infestation problem from within.
  • We apply chemical barriers to prevent ants from entering your property and establishing new colonies.
  • Once the colony has been eradicated, we apply crack and crevice treatments to stop future infestations.

The steps we use to get rid of your ant problem depend on the types of ants you are dealing with. Due to their unique behaviors and nesting behaviors, different species require specialized approaches.

Our Bedbug Treatment Service

Bedbugs are difficult to spot, but you’ll know that they have made a home in your bedding or furniture from the bites, skin irritation, and signs left behind on your bedding.

Our bedbug eradication service involves:

  • We start with a thorough inspection of your home to find where the bedbugs are nesting.
  • Once we have located the source of the problem, we apply the best treatment method for your unique situation. The most effective eradication method may be either heat or extreme cold. The best method can also be targeted pesticide applications that are harmless to humans and environmentally responsible.

Once the bedbug problem has been successfully solved, we provide preventative recommendations and insight into bedbug behaviors.

Our Bee & Wasp Control Service

Bee and wasp infestations can be painful and potentially dangerous. Getting rid of them usually involves removing hives, but there are some additional things we do as well.

Here’s how we help:

  • The first step is to identify and remove bee and wasp hives. We use environmentally focused methods to remove the hives.

We then employ preventative measures to discourage the return of any new bee or wasp colonies from coming back.

Our Flea & Tick Control Service

Fleas and ticks each come with their own unique challenges, but our comprehensive service can help you overcome them quickly and completely.

Our flea and tick control service involves:

  • Yard treatments are often necessary to remove the presence of fleas and ticks in common breeding grounds and hiding places like tall grass, shrubs, and shaded spots. These treatments also help deter fleas and ticks from invading your home when carried in by stray or wild animals.
  • Pet-safe solutions are also important. Not only to ensure a healthy environment for your pets to live in, but also to remove the parasites from the fur and skin.

We also carry out home and carpet treatments to effectively eliminate eggs, larvae, and adult pests, so the issue is solved as quickly as possible.

Our Fly Control Service

When flies decide to invade your home or business, they tend to do it in large numbers. Fly infestations can be incredibly annoying, but they can also be dangerous as they have been known to spread diseases.

Flies can be a challenge, but we can help:

  • To get rid of adult flies, we employ fly traps and baits. We strategically place these implements to effectively reduce fly populations in and around your property.
  • We then carry out comprehensive drain and waste area treatment to target fly breeding grounds. By addressing these hotspots, we can effectively curb the reproduction efforts of whichever type of fly infestation you are faced with.

Sometimes, it is also necessary to recommend repairs and modifications to common entry points into your home or business. Sealing doors and windows is usually among these recommendations.

Our Mosquito Treatment

Whether you are dealing with a persistent mosquito problem or a seasonal one, our methods can drastically reduce the number of these pests in and around your home or business.

Here’s how we help you defeat mosquitoes:

  • The first step in getting rid of mosquitoes is to use a fogging and misting approach. We do this to target hard-to-reach areas and effectively reduce the populations of adult mosquitoes.
  • We then locate and treat breeding grounds where the mosquito infestation is coming from. The larvicide treatments we use are not harmful to the environment, and they are very effective.
  • Once the mosquito problem has been successfully solved, we then provide habitat modification recommendations so you don’t invite them back onto your property.

We also offer ongoing mosquito control programs that are highly effective in areas where the mosquito presence is out of your control, as is the case when you are near dense vegetation, forests, golf courses, etc.

Our Rodent Control Service

Whether you are dealing with pocket gophers, squirrels, or muskrats, if you have rodents using your home as a feeding ground, they are probably causing a good amount of damage in the process. When you want to say goodbye to these pests, the best and fastest way to do it is to give us a call.

Our rodent control service includes:

  • Live trapping and humane removal is the first step in solving your rodent problem. We specialize in humanely capturing and removing rodents quickly and efficiently.
  • Once the rodents have been removed from your property, we take and suggest several exclusion measures to help you ensure that your rodent problem doesn’t return.

Our Mouse & Rat Control Service

Like other rodents, mice and rats are resilient and quite nimble. They can quickly set up nests in parts of your home that you cannot access, making it difficult to remove them. Here at Nexgen Pest Solutions, we use several proven methods to make sure your mouse or rat problems are solved quickly and completely.

We guarantee a rodent-free space:

  • We start by identifying nesting spots for the mice and rats infesting your property. Different species prefer to live in different areas of your home, and this is an essential step.
  • Once we have identified the type of mouse or rat infestation you have, we employ baiting and trapping strategies to humanely remove them from your home or business. These methods are customized based on each situation, and they are highly effective.

Once the rodent problem has been solved, we then go over prevention and exclusion measures with you to ensure the problem doesn’t happen again.

Our Roach Control

Roach invasions are especially challenging due to their ability to withstand exposure to chemicals and other pest control products. They also breed incredibly quickly and nest in hard-to-reach places.

We get rid of roaches the right way:

  • The first step in getting rid of a roach infestation is to use targeted gel baits. Baits are strategically placed in high-traffic areas to attract and eliminate roach infestations as efficiently as possible, wherever they live.
  • We also apply commercial-grade treatments for businesses in the food service and hospitality industries. Our treatments meet industry regulations, and we ensure a pest-free environment while prioritizing the well-being of everyone on site.

When the initial infestation has been resolved, we employ prevention strategies that focus on deterring future infestations. This step involves looking at potential sources of food, water, and shelter. It also involves using residual insecticides designed to keep future infestations at bay.

Our Spider Control Service

Spiders can pose quite a few inconveniences and some serious dangers. If you are dealing with a spider infestation, it is a good idea to give us a call to schedule a free consultation.

Our spider control service includes:

  • We use a targeted spraying and dusting treatment to quickly eliminate spider infestations at their source. These treatments are effective for current and future infestations.
  • Once spiders are removed, we provide web cleanup services to improve the appearance of your home or business.

For venomous spiders, like black widows and brown recluses, we offer specialized treatments to completely remove these dangerous spiders from your property.

Our Stink Bugs Control Service

If your home or business has been invaded by stinkbugs, there are some proven methods to stop them in their tracks.

Here’s how we help:

  • We offer perimeter treatments with repellents to deter stink bugs from entering your home or business.
  • Our team then removes stink bugs using a variety of methods to humanely remove them.
  • Once the stink bugs have been removed, we offer sealing and exclusion services to ensure your home or business stays stink bug-free.

Our Termite Treatment

For termite colonies to thrive, they need two primary things: a food source and a secure nesting place. Both of those two things can easily be found with the walls of your home or business. Termite colonies can grow quickly and can thrive for several years, making them a serious threat to any timber-based structure on your property.

Our termite treatment service includes:

  • The first step in our termite treatment service is a comprehensive inspection of your entire property. We must assess the extent of the infestation, if there is one, to determine the best course of action for solving the problem.
  • Once we have assessed the damage and extent of the problem, we employ various methods to quickly eradicate the termites from your property. One of the most effective is a baiting system that attracts termites that bring the treatment back to the colony. Another method involves using a liquid treatment to penetrate deep inside the nesting area, eliminating the colony and creating a chemical barrier to reduce the risk of future infestations.

We also offer a pre-construction termite barrier service for commercial purposes.

Frequently Asked Pest Control Questions

Let us answer all your pest control questions.

Nextgen Pest Solutions offers comprehensive pest control treatments for residential customers starting at just $49 per month.  As you might expect, with so many services and pest control options available, our rates will vary. The property we are working with, the pest, the type of treatment, and more can all impact the cost of service. Rather than provide general pricing, we prefer to give you a rate specific for your service. Give us a call or request a free quote and one of our agents will provide a quote after discussing your needs.

Yes. We know that all pest invasions need to be handled quickly, so we offer same day and next day services. Some pests require even faster service though, especially when they pose an immediate threat to your family or your property. For those cases, we provide 24 hour emergency service and can often reach you within an hour or two depending on availability.

Very safe. In addition to chemical free methods for some pests, we use the newest, most modern pesticides, many of which are harmless as common table salt for humans and pets. Your safety is our primary concern, and we ensure the products we use will not harm you, your family, or your employees. There are occasional cases where a slightly more toxic pest control method is required, but we will always discuss concerns and options before treatment.

On occasion, DIY pest control is possible. But in most cases, the pests you can easily see are only a part of the larger problem. Most pests are hidden in yards, walls, attics, underground, and other hard to reach places. Killing a few rarely eliminates the pests altogether or addresses why they are able to entire your home. Most over the counter pest control solutions are short lasting, more toxic, and not effective for all pests, and in cases of wildlife, attempting to deal with it yourself can be dangerous if animals become defensive.
