Best Restaurants in Forsyth County
Let’s start with the “best” according to our team here at Nextgen. Our top recommendations throughout the entirety of Forsyth County include the following:
- Socks Love Barbecue – Formerly known as Catering Kitchen, Socks Love Barbecue does not sacrifice in quality and flavor. This is a local favorite here in Cumming, and it does not disappoint. As locals, you probably know this restaurant well, but for visitors this is likely one of the must-try places for those that love BBQ.
- Q Korean Steak House – Most steakhouses are worth a visit. But those that also offer a little bit of cultural flavor are often even better. With its house steak, along with a host of other flavors and meat preparations, Q is definitely worth at ry.
- Baba’s Gyro and Kabob – It’s hard not to like a gyro, but thankfully Baba’s is a bit more than a “like.” They have a larger menu than other gyro places and unlike many places here in Cumming that are heavily focused on meat, they also have vegetarian and vegan options here for those that need it.
- Rice Restaurant and Sushi Bar – A bit harder to find compared to other items on the list, Rice Restaurant and Sushi Bar is located up towards Coal Mountain. Folks, it’s good. Considering it’s so tucked away from Cumming proper, you would think that it is just a standard, decent place, but the sushi here (and other restaurant items) are some of the best in the region. Worth the drive.
- The Burger Stop – There are so many good burger places in Cumming it’s hard to really rate them at all. Each one has its great burgers and it’s good burgers. But we have to give the nod to The Burger Stop. The Burgers are good, the wings are good, the people are good, the prices are great, and it’s a good place to get food fast.
